Mostafa Mohammad Hassan, a student activist at Tarbiat Modares University, was temporarily released from prison on an exorbitant 3-billion-toman bail for just one day to take his master’s entrance exam. On Wednesday, February 21, he was granted leave under bail conditions to participate in his academic exam.
The imposition of such heavy bail for short-term leave once again highlights the severe restrictions imposed on students and civil activists.
