Yasamin Rahmati, a music professor at the University of Tehran and a musician, was killed by a gunshot to her head in a house in Rasht.
According to Rokna News Agency, the young woman and a man who lived with her in a house in the Pirbazaar neighborhood of Rasht were both shot in the head and died in the early hours of Wednesday, September 4.
There has been no report on the arrest of the perpetrator(s) or the motive behind the murder
