Reza Rasaei, a young man who was arrested during the 2022 protests in Sahne, Kermanshah, was executed early this morning, Tuesday, August 6. It has been reported that his family did not have the chance to visit him before the execution.
Ministry of Intelligence & Security authorities have also stated that they cannot bury his body in his hometown and must inter it in a remote location. It should be noted that Reza Rasaei was a follower of the Yarsan faith, and his death sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court last January.
