In the wake of the Israeli army’s attack, which destroyed a residential unit in one of the country’s northern regions, four members of a single family lost their lives. Among the victims was Yasmin Bakooyi, a master’s student at Sharif University of Technology.

Yasmin Bakooyi, enrolled in 2023, was pursuing her M.Sc. in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Computer Systems Architecture. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Alzahra University (S), she entered the master’s program at Sharif University of Technology without the need to retake any entrance examination.

What repeats is the heavy price paid by defenseless people—a price that is often measured in their lives.
