#شورای_صنفی_دانشجویان دانشگاه علم و صنعت ایران از سال ۹۸ تشکیل نشده است.
اکنون بیش از پنج سال است که جای #شورای_صنفی در دانشگاه علم و صنعت خالی است. دکتر سعیدی (معاونت دانشجویی) در سه سال گذشته بار‌‌ها در گفتگوهای خود با دانشجویان وعده‌هایی برای برگزاری این انتخابات داده است و در موعد گفته شده به بهانه‌هایی همچون نبود جو مناسب در دانشگاه، نبود نیروی کافی برای برگزاری انتخابات و… از برگزاری انتخابات و تشکیل شورای صنفی سر باز می‌زند و با وعده جدید آن را به تاریخ دیگری موکول می‌کند.
وی آخرین بار گفته بود که اردیبهشت ماه سال ۱۴۰۳ این انتخابات را برگزار خواهد کرد اما اردیبهشت ماه نیز تمام شد و خبری از شورای صنفی نشد.
این شورا مهمترین مرجع تماما دانشجویی برای پیگیری دغدغه‌های درون صنفی دانشگاه #علم_صنعت بوده و نبود آن موجب حل نشدن این مشکلات و انباشت آن‌ها می‌گردد.

The Student Guild Council of Iran University of Science and Technology has not been formed since 2019. It has been over five years since the absence of the Student Guild Council at Iran University of Science and Technology. Dr. Saeedi (Deputy for Student Affairs) has repeatedly promised in his discussions with students over the past three years to hold these elections, but on the specified date, excuses such as the lack of appropriate atmosphere at the university, lack of sufficient manpower to hold elections, etc., prevent the elections and the formation of the guild council, pushing it to another date with new promises.
The last time he said he would hold these elections was in May 2024, but May also ended, and there was no news of the guild council.
This council has been the most important purely student body for addressing the internal concerns of Iran University of Science and Technology, and its absence leads to the non-resolution and accumulation of these problems.
